I have been in the military for over 15 yrs, 12 as a member of the Special Operations community. I have visited many retail-training establishments in that time, and by far GGT is some of the most professional and knowledgeable staff to date. The gear they carry is some of the most high quality and cutting edge kit in the world. The staff not only searches out the best equipment made, but when there is an industry shortfall, they will work with manufacturers to fill those shortfalls. Most retailers just buy new items from the same 'Wal-Mart' gear vendors they are used to using. This is fine for the airsoft or paintball crowd, not Operators going down range. The industry is flooded with the Wal-Mart kind of gear store because it is easy and takes no extra time or research. With GGT, many hundreds of man hours are spent testing and talking with Operators on the best kit out there. If you are looking for Wal-Mart, there are many out there. If you are looking for the best, I can personally recommend them.

High Altitude K9

This is a picture of my MWD with some kit from 215 Gear. I have used their products for the last year, both for myself and my dog. I was a little skeptical about a plastic side release collar for a military working dog. My unit purchased several to test and see if we should use them. All the tests we put them through have broken other collars we had. Since testing them, we have used these collars down range for the last almost year, with none breaking. The big selling point was for me was taking the gear to a high altitude-cold weather environment. I would have expected a piece of plastic to fail under those temperatures. They say they use the best hardware available, and they mean it. We have also been fielding the 15' and 30' Tracking-hauling lines from 215 Gear. The 30' Tracking line solves the problem of having your tracking line all knotted up in a backpack, pulling out a ball of tangled mess. Their line folds up and has stows that make the whole package small and light enough, I just carry it in my cargo pocket. The products are not only well made, but well thought out and designed.
