Arc'teryx ATOM LT Jacket

by Special K

The new Atom LT jacket is set to ship from Arc'teryx in July. This is the first item in the brand's history that started on the LEAF side of the house, and migrated over to the Commercial business.

Arc'teryx ATOM LT Jacket

A Federal Law Enforcement Team with CONUS and OCONUS responsibilities was the primary driver of the jackets design & features. Built to be worn under body armor in cold conditions, the Atom LT is incredibly light, super compressible, & has a broad comfort range. One of the target features was its ability to compress and be stored in the team's assault uniform. The Atom LT uses 60 gram Coreloft insulation to provide the warmth. The side panels of the jacket utilize Polartec Hardface fabric. These Hardface side panels give the jacket an athletic fit which is great when worn under the armor package as this lessens the bunching of fabric under plates. As well, the Hardface fabric broadens the comfort range as it allows some air permeability and venting. The shell material is a lightweight (1.2 oz sq yd) Nylon called Luminara. The material slides easily under a shell or over a fleece, for a non-binding fit. Users reported that the slick material doesn't "saran wrap" other pieces being worn and works well when layered up.

The Atom LT is available in both Civilian (Red, Blue, Black, & Lime Green) and Tactical colors (Crocodile).
MSRP is $189.00.
